-- THAT’S IT THEN !!!
Yes it’s true,
not to the wilds of my favourite place Nevada, but yes, I have
retired. If you have picked up any rumours of my
departing I can now confirm that Sounds Of Music and Metropolis
Music are now out of my control and in the hands of my successors,
Brett Hunnisett and Peter Woolliscroft.
Those of you who know me personally will find it difficult to believe that I am actually well past retirement age but I assure you that is true and I am heading more quickly every day to a time when more leisurely activities beckon and I felt it was time to pass on the whole business to a younger and more energetic crew. (Who’s kidding who, I always got to the phones before they did.)
With the digital world getting more and more complicated and the day to day running of such a business becoming more and more bureaucratic every day, that’s just not my cup of tea any more.
Brett and Peter (from what I have observed over the last few months) have the energy and enthusiasm to continue with the business and I wish them very strongly great success in the future and I hope you will continue to offer them the benefit of your business and I am sure they will carry on offering you back the same service, advice and great sales policies that I hope I have been able to do in the past.

However, they are not getting rid of me entirely
as I am staying on as a consultant to offer any back up required

customers who I will be delighted to converse with should you wish
to talk to me. Either Peter or Brett will be able to
give you my contact details although you may have to try several
times as mobile phones don’t always work in the far off reaches of
this planet -- especially in the
west.
I would like to thank all our existing customers for the many years that you have given us your business (some still emerging from way back when I used to run Jeffries Hi-Fi some 38 years ago) and I will do everything within my capabilities to ensure Brett and Peter continue or indeed, improve on what was hopefully an enjoyable relationship.
