Yter is an Italian brand of high-end audio cables closely associated with Franco Serblin, the founder of Sonus Faber. The cables were reportedly developed by Serblin with a metallurgist, and Yter cables were used inside some of Serblin's own loudspeakers. Their conductors are made from a silver-palladium alloy, formed into a solid ribbon and arranged in a geometry intended to control the cable's electrical properties, and the matching connectors are made from the same alloy. The range was deliberately small, consisting mainly of a speaker cable and a matching interconnect, offered in RCA and XLR versions. Reviewers and owners describe the cables as fluid, organic and natural, with good clarity. Yter is best understood as part of the wider Serblin story: a cable designed with the same attention to musical character that made his loudspeakers famous. Its current availability is unclear. Its cables are now mostly found on the second-hand market, often in systems built around Serblin's speakers.

More about Yter
So emerged a new conductor based in conceptual and structural terms, on the following premise: the transfer of the audio signal from amplifier to speaker, and in particular those at the micro signal level, depends more on the physical structure of the metal than on the absolute value of conductivity in the wire.
