Thule Audio was a Danish electronics company whose amplifiers, preamplifiers and CD and DVD players were reviewed in the European and American hi-fi press in the late 1990s and 2000s. Its range ran from entry-level models such as the IA 60 integrated amplifier and the CD 100 CD player up to higher-end products such as the Spirit IA350B integrated amplifier and the Space DVA250B DVD and CD player, which was its flagship digital source. From its mid-priced models upwards, Thule used fully balanced circuitry, and its products were praised for clean, detailed and neutral sound in understated Scandinavian casework. Thule was one of several Danish companies that helped give the country a strong presence in hi-fi electronics. Its current status is unclear, and its products now appear mainly on the second-hand market. Its fully balanced designs and solid build made it a respected name among European listeners. Its products are now quite rare outside Denmark.
