Totem Acoustic is a Canadian loudspeaker company based in Montreal, founded in 1987 by Vince Bruzzese. Its first product, the Model 1, was a small two-way standmount that became famous for producing a big, detailed and three-dimensional sound from a compact box, and it has stayed in the range in updated form. Totem designs its speakers with an emphasis on imaging, speed and musical coherence, often using simple crossovers and carefully chosen drive units in rigid, well-braced cabinets. Popular models have included the Mani-2, the Forest, the Hawk and the slim Sttaf, as well as the more ambitious Element series. Totem speakers are known for being easy to place and for disappearing into the soundstage, and they have a strong following in North America and Europe. The company remains independent and designer-led, building its speakers in Canada. Its designs are known for punching well above their size. Its speakers are sold worldwide.

More about Totem Acoustic
Totem Acoustics Totem Acoustic was founded in 1987 by Vincent Bruzzese in Montreal, Canada. The new company's original mission was to develop a totally new transducer, a loudspeaker capable of reproducing a truly musical and involving performance. The goal was to provide something not currently available on the market--an affordable "soul mover" for the music lover. The "Totem Acoustic" name was chosen as an ongoing symbolic representation of this mission and vision.
The Totem represents, to the native North American people, an entity which chooses an individual and then guides that person during his or her life. Totem Acoustic is a bridge to higher musical awareness.
