Copulare is a German maker of equipment supports and bases for hi-fi systems, based in Bavaria. Its products are built around the idea that vibration control has a significant effect on how well audio components perform, and its "tone bases" are designed to isolate equipment from structure-borne vibration and to absorb the vibrations the equipment itself creates. Copulare bases use combinations of materials such as sand, lead shot and other dense fills inside wooden or metal structures, and the company tailors designs to particular equipment and rooms. Its ranges have included the Grand Porto and Majestoso systems and the Bronze Sphaeren isolation feet. Copulare's products are examples of the support and isolation side of high-end audio, alongside companies such as Harmonic Resolution Systems and Finite Elemente. Independent coverage of the company is limited, and its products are mainly found in Germany. Its bases are usually built to order, often finished to match the owner's furniture.

More about Copulare
Copulare Why should equipment supports not be beautiful and distinct? Copulare asked that same question and their answer is a bespoke range of products that endear the eye, the ear and the heart... More than it is the case with philosophic systems, the way of making works of art is kept in obscurity. Their makers work hard pretending that everything just happens out of itself so as if an image ist developing in a clear mirror that is inactive.
This, of course is an illusion obviously accompanied by the assumption that, if successful, it would increase the spectators pleasure, but this is not the case.
